Phantom Detectives LLC investigated the Plank House on Saturday August 23, 2025.

During the investigation the team captured an EVP during Phantom Time that said the word “Ray”. As the night went on the team was able to capture numerous thermal/digital camera images that resemble BlackBeard the Pirate, as well as a woman wearing 18th century clothing.

Psychic Medium Melissa Ferrazzano was also picking up on both spirits as well. Team Founder Joshua Chaires was pushed to the flood by the spirit of Blackbeard or a Demonic Presence that is inhabiting the home.

It appears that the Plank House has both an intelligent haunting and a demonic haunting both in one.
